Meet the Bandera DPC Founder,
Dr. Kaleb Roberts
Dr. Kaleb Roberts is a board-certified family physician. He attended Brigham Young University- Idaho for his undergraduate degree and attended medical school at Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He was awarded the Army’s Health Profession Scholarship (HPSP) and commissioned as an officer in the Army before matriculating into medical school. He graduated in the top quartile of class and was inducted into the National Osteopathic Honorary Society, Sigma Sigma Phi-Rho Chapter, and also served as student ambassador for interviewing applicants. After graduating from medical school in 2020, he completed his Family Medicine residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in 2023 and was elected Chief Resident by faculty and staff his last year.
Dr. Roberts is completing his military service commitment at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas where he has fulfilled assignments as MEPS Medical Officer, EFMP Medical Director, Primary Care Manager for active duty service members, dependents, and retirees, and Medical Director of Rio Bravo Medical Home supervising a team of 6 nurse practitioners, 1 physician, 25 LVNs, and 5 CMAs. He will complete his military service at the rank of Major in 2027.
Throughout his medical training, it became clear how broken the healthcare system is and Dr. Roberts decided to pursue the direct primary care model. He founded Bandera DPC to offer affordable, accessible, and transparent healthcare, aiming to empower families and businesses through trusted physician relationships aligned with their values.
When he’s not working, Dr. Roberts enjoys spending time with his family. He and his high school sweetheart, Aly, love being active outdoors and spending time with their three boys and twin girls: Benjamin, Seth, Levi, Emery, and Brielle.
